Sus Jones, CPM
they/them
I am a queer, trans/non-binary, divorced, single parent. I birthed both of my babies at home and experienced the profound power and vulnerability of bringing life into the world.
I had known for a while that midwifery was my calling, but it wasn't until my own midwife was tucking me into bed after birthing my first baby that I truly felt ready. (She told me to get some rest first!)
I began birth work in 2014, apprenticed with local midwives and attended Ancient Art Midwifery Institute. I received my CPM in 2019.

My children are two of my greatest teachers, I learn from them and with them every single moment. I feel most at home when the sun is warming my skin and I am surrounded by trees. I love movement, embodiment practices and connection. I enjoy working with clay and creating vessels of all kinds, most especially tiny ones.
Queer, Trans and GNC Centered Care
The foundation of the care that I provide is embodiment, loving and building trust with your body, learning and listening to the messages from it. The path to parenthood can be challenging and transformational for everyone, but I acknowledge the specific barriers and challenges that are unique to queer, trans, and GNC folks, and especially when other intersectionalities are present. Wherever you are on your journey I would love to provide support and companionship.
